Picture Blog: Applied’s Road Trip to Leh, an Invigorating Experience!

by Shweta Mishra

This year, our current and prospective Applied Ninjas went on a road trip from Srinagar to Leh on a team building outing. The pictures reveal how invigorating it must have been!

You are set for a real adventure, if you plan to travel to Leh from Srinagar by road. The team traveled about 420 Km in what was a 15 hour road trip from Srinagar to Leh.

The national highway that connects Srinagar to Leh is one tricky and difficult trail that follows the Sindh Drainage on Kashmir side, and the Indus river on Ladakh side…plus you get to cross several high mountain passes.

Along with having fun, our geeky tech team could not stay away from what they feed, breath, and live on – that is technology. Throughout the trip the team kept testing and tweaking their apps and wearables for accuracy of data points collected like latitude / altitude.

After a week on the road, breathtaking views, and some serious adventure, they are now back to their play-pad…

…..taking a crack at the projects they had taken a break from…

….and conveying their feelings to each other through codes.
